install driver by selecting "browse my computer for driver software".
If you have old drivers still in, you can try this one: I need my x52 to work, so I'm really hoping someone can help me! EDIT: Problem Resolved!īig thanks to /u/phryzz for posting a solution in another thread: I've tried numerous restarts, powered USB hubs vs direct-to-mainboard USB ports, driver reinstalls, etc. Windows can recognize it as an X52 Pro, so says the Device Manager, but it refuses to work or show up in the Game Controllers control panel. I've tried downloading the drivers from Saitek fresh and doing a clean install, but when the install utility asks you to plug in the device, it doesn't detect it when plugged in (although Windows does and tries to find drivers for it, and gets stuck doing so) to either a USB2 or USB3 port. I have seen others report that it works with with 10586 after some googling last night, but I'm hoping I'm not the only one, and more importantly, that someone knows a fix/workaround. Now, the only thing that has changed in my setup since it worked previously was Windows 10 updating from build 10240 (the release build) to the latest iteration, 10586. I checked the device manager and it said the drivers needed reinstalled, so I did so, and it claimed there was something wrong with the INF (typing this from work, so I don't have access to the verbatim) about not assigning a function to the device. I plugged in the stick, and the buttons lit up indicating it was receiving power, but the Saitek software wouldn't come up to set my profile. I normally keep the joystick unplugged until I need it, and I got an invite to the Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 PTU the other day so I decided to fire it up last night. I've been using the latest beta drivers from Saitek and everything was working flawlessly up until last night. Hey all - so I've been using my x52 Pro in Windows 10 since the Insider Preview.
